Skiing is, without a doubt, my favorite sport. These pictures were taken before I got my current camera and they're just about the only ones I have from the 2000-2001 season. This is at Alpine Meadows in March 10th, 2001. Awesome day!!!!!
HIking with some friends at Pinnacles National Monument in central CA. One of the great things about California is how much the scenery changes if you travel just a short ways from the Bay Area. It was over 100 degrees and basically a desert. Very difficult to get pictures in the caves, but they were excellent.
First visit to Pescadero State Beach on the Pacific Coast. Some very nice weather during the month of February pushed me towards weekly beach trips. One of my new favorite places.
Pescadero Beach, part two. This time at a location further south from Pescadero State Beach where there are all kinds of tide pools. I'd never seen anemones outside of an aquarium. Turns out they're pretty excellent.
