I have designed and user tested Homestead's signup processes as part of an ongoing project to increase the percentage of users to finish registration. Each step of the process has been refined and tested, many times using A/B tests to objectively test one design against another. I have worked to minimize the number of steps, make steps easier, and provide context sensitive instructions when the user needs them.
